One of the key elements of Business-Agile according to me is to ensure that decisions (that are not covered by policy) get made by the people who understand the most about the ramifications of the decision they are proposing to make. The question is how does the information about these decisions work there way back up to the top?
I found this blog on Organizational Decision Making that I thought might make a nice place to start the discussion. Is there a new paradigm for decision making? The speaker on the embedded Ted talk mentions algorithmic decision making, and I’m a big proponent of Heuristically assisted decision making but neither of these ideas touches the need for bi-directional decision making.
The purpose of this forum is to support the sharing of ideas so please jump in with your thoughts and your opinions.
